A shielded RJ45 connector supports 100Base-TX
links up to 100 meters over Category 5 unshielded twisted pair cable.
An SC type fiber
optic connector supports the 100Base-FX link up to 2km over
50/125µm, 62.5/125µm, or 100/140µm multimode duplex
fiber optic cable.
