The 365A Adapter is a twinaxial-to-twisted-pair balun that eliminates the need for
twinaxial cable to connect equipment in IBM® System 36/38 and Application
System/400™ environments. The adapter allows the 1 Mbps signals of the IBM
equipment to be transmitted over the unshielded twisted-pair wiring of the AT&T
SYSTIMAX® Premises Distribution System (PDS).

The 365A Adapter consists of a flame-retardant plastic housing with a short section of
twinaxial cable terminated with a male twinaxial connector. The other end of the housing
contains an 8-pin modular jack. The 366A Terminating Adapter is included in this package.
