FC stands for face contact and was originally designed by NTT (Nippon Telephone & Telegraph). NCI carries many different makes of FC type fiber optic connector. We want to give you a wide selection to make your fiber optic installation as easy as possible. FC connectors use a threaded keyed design and are compatible with NTT-FC and NEC-D3 hardware. The anti-rotation key prevents fiber endface damage and rotational sensitivity and the floating ferrule prevents shock and vibration. Available in either Singlemode (SM) or Multimode (MM) versions. |
