3M Hot Melt connectors have adhesive already applied
to the connector so that no application of epoxy is needed.
That means you don't need a syringe or an applicator and no mixing. That
saves time and money!
A Hot Melt kit is available with all the tools you need to connectorize.

ST stands for straight tip
and was originally designed by AT&T. The
ST type Hot Melt fiber optic connector from 3M uses a bayonet style
coupling mechanism for latching. NCI also carries the 3M Push Pull Hot
Melt connector. It connects with a push and disconnects with a pull.
Simple, huh? In order to disconnect you must pull on the housing of the
connector so don't worry about someone pulling on the cable Great in
areas where less space is available. Converting to duplex is a snap!
Simply clip together the 2 connectors using the duplex clips (see below).
