3M's new crimplok connector provides quick and easy
installation and
superior performance. Installs in about 2 minutes. The fiber passes thru
the back of the connector beyond the end of the activation cap. Pressing
the cap locking arm closes the metal element around the fiber.
AMP's Lightcrimp connector uses precision molding and
crimping to
provide a strong and reliable termination. This is done with a 2-step
crimp, cleave and 30 second polish. A no-epoxy installation in less
than 2 minutes.
