OFFICELINK
OfficeLink is a compact, single-user device which allows employees to make and receive phone calls from their homes or "telework" centers, while appearing to callers as if they are in the office. Your employees can work from any touchtone telephone and anyone calling them will assume they are calling from the office.
Telecommuters can use PBX features to transfer callers, set up a conference call, or leave voice mail messages. OfficeLink
is the economical telecommuting solution: with minimal investment your company can begin, right away, to realize the benefits
of the "virtual office".
Office Link Productivity Features:
  • Quick & Easy Installation. As simple as plugging in an incoming and an outgoing analog telephone line to the unit. Installed at the company PBX or ACD location.
  • Ease of Use. Once your employees learn a few short touchtone commands, they are ready to go to work.
  • A Connection for Your Application. Office Link offers 2 types of network connections between the the telecommuter and the office phone system.
  • Continuous Connection. Designed for businesses with intensive incoming call traffic, the continuous connection
feature maintains a constant network link with companyÕs phone system. Incoming calls are announced with a
    tone in the headset.
  • Per-Call Connection. This connection is maintained only for the duration of individual calls and is suited for
intermittent calling. A distinctive headset tone announces business calls, so the telecommuter can answer with a
    business greeting.
  • Cost Effective.Move employees off-site and reduce overhead. Replace off-premises extension (OPX) lines.
    Comply with commuter-trip reduction requirements.
  • Mobility. Telecommuters' calls can follow them wherever they go. The telecommuter calls the OfficeLink
whenever he changes location and enters the current number.
  • 25 Telecommuters. Multiple employees can share the benefits of OfficeLink, if they telecommute at different times.

  • Access to Phone System Features. Employees can use all the features
of the office telephone system, just as though they were on site.
  • Remote Administration. Allows the system administrator to change
passwords and otherwise remotely manage the system.
  • Rock Solid Security. Designed with the security of your phone system in
mind, OfficeLink's anti-hacker feature will frustrate any unauthorized caller.
  • Passwords. Passwords of up to ten digits can be changed as often as
    necessary to ensure security.
  • Lock-Out. OfficeLink blocks calls after multiple attempts to enter an
    unauthorized password.
  • Dial Back. Only employees whose numbers have been preloaded into
the OfficeLink are given access with this feature. Dial Back also enables
toll reversal where the company is to be billed for long distance calls.
