Network. The 2 basic types of ISDN are known as subscriber interfaces and consist of BRI and PRI.BRI stands for Basic Rate Interface and is 144,000 bits per second (bps). PRI stands for Primary Rate Interface and is 1,544,000 bps.BRI works with desktop applications while PRI works with telephone switches, computer telephony and voice processing systems.
